A management system that supports the work
Clarify ownership, reduce avoidable handoffs and make progress visible without adding unnecessary reporting.

Start by defining the outcome and the work required to achieve it. A process should explain who begins a task, what information they need and what a complete handoff looks like. Keep the documentation simple enough to use.
Choose a few review points that reveal delays, quality problems or capacity constraints. More reporting is not automatically more control. Use the information to remove an obstacle or make a decision.
Assign one accountable owner for each recurring commitment. Other people may contribute, but shared involvement should not make responsibility unclear. Agree how changes in scope or timing will be communicated.
Improve one bottleneck at a time. Compare the results before adding another tool or approval stage. The purpose of management is reliable coordination, not a larger collection of status updates.
